For most of us, the “study” is not a place or even a par­tic­u­lar prac­tice, but what­ever moment we cre­ate in our day to reflect upon, absorb and expand ideas. The mod­ern man under­stands that learn­ing and cre­at­ing are inte­gral cat­e­gories of a ful­filled existence.
 
Indeed we should all strive to progress in our lives by study­ing a selec­tion of pur­suits. Svb­scrip­tion does not intend to out­line such activ­i­ties by col­lat­ing a list or devis­ing a hier­ar­chy. We can’t be sure where yoga sits in rela­tion to learn­ing a lan­guage or restor­ing a car. Instead we wish to present the theme of “study” as uni­ver­sally impor­tant and one that should not be overlooked.
